Has Christina Aguilera Cleaned Up Her Act?

Has Christina Aguilera cleaned up her act? At the very least she seems to have learned that tights aren't an acceptable substitute for a pair of pants. She appeared at a press junket for The Voice last week, and for the first time in a long time she actually looked pretty good.

According to the Huffington Post, Christina hasn't looked so hot lately. She was photographed recently wearing tights and a t-shirt in public--having somehow managed to leave her pants at home. She had been falling down drunk en route from bar to bar, and her hair looked like a dirty stiff wig for months on end.
Christina Aguilera wore a respectable and stylish outfit at the press junket for The Voice. It was a black mini-skirt (she still left her pants at home--but at least there was something more than a t-shirt over her tights this time!) and a silk blouse tied with a bow. Paired with black tights and black boots, she actually looked cute for the first time in a long time.


Even her hair had been worked on significantly. The long tresses that so frequently looked like the victim of a Barbie doll hairdresser (aka a six-year-old) were clean, shiny and styled beautifully. Last season on The Voice Christina Aguilera's hair was a big, tangled, dirty-looking mess--however not as bad as it looked when she was photographed at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert in Wales a few weeks ago. That had an air of dumpster-living about it. It was really, really bad.

So kudos to Christina Aguilera for cleaning up--or kudos to whomever insisted upon cleaning up Christina Aguilera. Whichever way it goes--fans are no doubt grateful. The girl can sing (unless she's at the Superbowl) but she has looked like hell for over a year now. Perhaps that phase has come to an abrupt end.
